Red Chile Honey

I'm making pollo adovada for dinner tonight. One of the first steps is to make some Red Chile Honey.

This stuff is so great I couldn't wait to share it with you. 
I'll post the adovada recipe for you later this week

 

 Here's what you'll need, just a few simple ingredients

Honey, powdered chili, cumin and garlic salt

In a small saucepan add the honey, garlic salt and cumin.
I only had garlic granules so I added a bit of salt too,

and the powdered chile.

Stir, stir over low heat for a minute

Save every little bit of this lusciousness. 


I'm using only 1 tablespoon of this so I'll save the rest in the refrigerator.

Red Chile Honey

sauces/dips

1 cup honey
1 tablespoon red chile powder
1/4 teaspoon ground cumin
1/4 teaspoon garlic salt

1. Combine all ingredients in a small saucepan on low heat and cook for 1
minute,
stirring constantly
